The 15-oz Mug from Bodum is designed to be a large latte mug with plenty of room for your coffee/espresso of choice and a big dollop of whip cream - it would also be a great fun way to serve your favorite hot or cold soup or liquid dessert.

Need another serving idea? Try this Gazpacho recipe handed down from my Grandfather - and serve in your new Bodum for a festive party.

Gazpacho:

  • 1 Cup Tomatoes
  • 1/2 Cup Green Pepper
  • 1/2 Cup celery
  • 1/2 Cup Cucumber
  • 1/4 cup onion
  • 2 tsp Parsley
  • 1 tsp Chives
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 3 Tbsp Wine Vinegar
  • 2 Tbsp Olive Oil
  • 1 tsp Black Pepper
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 Cups Tomato Juice
  • Tabasco Sauce to taste

    Finely chop vegetables. Add rest of ingredients. Cover and chill for at least 4 hours before serving.

    For the "new generation" version, I divide the vegetables and puree 1/2 of them, then add the remaining vegetables as above.
